An empty water bottle and a paper cup.
It’s called Dead Man’s Bones, and I am about to download as many songs as I can find.
During the Split: Just A Feeling — Maroon 5
The Beginning: Bluebird — Christina Perri
When the Permanence Hit: Someone Like You — Adele
Acceptance: It Makes No Difference Now — Ray Charles
The Mamas & The Papas — Dream A Little Dream Of Me
Alexi Murdoch — Orange Sky
Table For One — Liz Phair
At first, I only knew of Liz Phair because of ‘Why Can’t I’, but now that I’ve heard her real sound, I almost never listen to that song.
‘Table For One’ is so sad, but it’s so good…it doesn’t sound self-pitying (like a lot of sad music now); it sounds more like acknowledgement.
Desperado — The Eagles
